Yes. I've DJed at Caswell House before, so I already know how the venue runs, and I'll confirm the supplier details with the Caswell team for your date. The barns and courtyards are yours from 10am until midnight, with extensions available on request. Caswell provides a sound system for background music, and for the party I bring my own booth and sound. My evening package is from £1,150, and all-day starts at £1,750.
Caswell House is a collection of restored 15th-century Cotswold stone barns, courtyards and gardens near Brize Norton in Oxfordshire. It's elegant but still relaxed, so I keep the setup considered, let the venue speak for itself and concentrate on getting the music right.

How do you plan the music for a Caswell House wedding?
I'll always ask for some direction beforehand. That might be a handful of artists, a Spotify playlist, twenty records you love or simply a conversation about where you normally go out and what you listen to. I also want to know what you don't want.
I use all of that as a reference rather than a script. The rest comes from the room. If something is working, I'll follow it; if the crowd wants to move somewhere else, I'll move with them. The result should feel like somebody has properly DJed your wedding rather than pressed play on a very good wedding playlist.
How does the music run through a wedding day at Caswell House?
With the All-day package, one DJ looks after the whole soundtrack: ceremony music, the drinks reception, background music through the wedding breakfast, a wireless microphone for speeches, then the evening party. The daytime music is deliberately subtle. It doesn't need to announce itself; it just needs to suit the setting and the point in the day. All-day starts from £1,750.
Ceremony
In Wenmans Barn, or outdoors under the Loggia from April to September, with music for arrivals, the aisle, the signing and your exit.
Drinks reception
Soul, funk, acoustic edits and laid-back house in the courtyards while photos happen.
Wedding breakfast & speeches
Background music in Wenmans Barn that leaves room for conversation, and a wireless microphone for the speeches.
Evening to midnight
An open-format, properly mixed set built around your guests, right through to the finish.
Can we add live sax at Caswell House?
Sax can be added to either package. At Caswell I particularly like using sax earlier during drinks and bringing it back later in the evening. For the party, the saxophonist plays alongside the DJ rather than stopping everything for a standalone show: I establish the dance floor first and bring the sax in where it makes sense musically. How much it costs comes down to your date.
What does your setup look like at Caswell House?
Caswell House already looks good, with flagstone floors, honeyed Cotswold stone and exposed oak beams, and I don't want to cover the barns with equipment. My setup is intentionally clean: professional sound and an understated booth. The barns already have fairy lights, and I bring my own wireless uplighters for the evening.
The idea is for everything to look right in a Cotswolds wedding venue, not like a mobile disco has been installed for the evening.
How much is a wedding DJ at Caswell House?
At Caswell, the Evening package is from £1,150 and covers up to five hours of music, usually from 7pm through to Caswell’s midnight finish. All-day, from £1,750, adds music for the ceremony, the drinks in the courtyards and the wedding breakfast. Sax can be added to either and is priced for the date you’re booking, and you’ll have a music consultation before the day either way.
