Live sax adds another layer to the music without taking over the evening. The DJ and saxophonist work together throughout the event, building the atmosphere naturally and choosing the right moments to bring the sax into the set.

A Seamless DJ & Sax Performance
This is not a separate sax performance followed by a DJ set. The music is planned and delivered as one experience.
The saxophonist performs live alongside the DJ, improvising over carefully selected tracks while the music continues to flow. Sets can move through house, disco, funk, R&B, pop and dance classics depending on the crowd and the direction you want the evening to take.
Every performance is adapted in real time, rather than following a fixed playlist
How DJ × Sax works at a Cotswolds wedding
Live saxophone sits inside the DJ set — not as a separate stage show. Sets are usually shaped as either 3 × 30-minute or 2 × 45-minute sax features across the evening, timed around first dance, peak energy, and late-night moments. For drinks receptions, sax can stay softer and more ambient before the evening build.
Drinks reception vs evening
• Drinks / cocktail hour: lighter, melodic lines over soul, disco and house — guests can talk.
• Evening: higher-energy improvisation over dance-floor tracks without stopping the mix.
Barns and manor rooms each behave differently acoustically; levels and placement are planned around the room, not a one-size setup.
