How do you prepare for a venue you haven't written up?
Every venue guide on this site started as a room I had to learn. The steps don't change when your venue is new to my site.
Ask the venue early
When you send your date, tell me the venue. I'll ask about its music rules, finish time and access before anything is fixed.
Send the paperwork
I hold full public liability insurance and my kit is PAT tested. I'll send the current certificates straight to your venue.
Plan the layout
We agree where the booth goes, and where wireless speakers sit for the ceremony and drinks if you book All-day.
Arrive early
On All-day I set up before your guests arrive, so nothing is built around them.
How do we tell you what we like?
Start with a music consultation. Then use my private online planning portal to add the songs you want, the ones you never want to hear, and set songs for key moments like your first dance. You can also send guests a QR code or link for requests, and choose which ones are accepted.
About four weeks before, we go through it all with your timings, so I arrive knowing the plan for your venue.
Can the music move around the venue?
Yes. On All-day the ceremony, drinks and cocktail hour run from a fully wireless setup. That means speakers can go in a garden, a courtyard or on a terrace without cables across the lawn.
For speeches there's a wireless microphone, so you don't rely on a house system. In the evening the booth and main sound go wherever the dancing is.
What kind of Tetbury wedding suits you?
My about page lists manor houses, barns, private estates and marquees among the places I've played. The approach is the same in each: a clean setup that fits the space, and music planned around your timings.

Evening suits you if the daytime music is sorted. All-day puts one person in charge from the first guest arriving to the last song.

What do Tetbury couples ask?
Can we book you for the evening only?
Yes. Evening is for couples who already have the daytime music covered, with up to five hours of music.
What time does the evening set finish?
Midnight. Evening covers up to five hours, and extra hours can be added if your venue allows. Ask for a quote.
Will you talk on the microphone a lot?
No. I keep the microphone to a minimum and let the music do the work.
Can you play music outside?
Yes. With All-day, wireless speakers cover outdoor ceremonies, gardens, courtyards and terraces.
What sound system do you bring?
An FBT Ventis system, a DJ booth and an intelligent, programmed lighting rig.
Do you charge travel to Tetbury?
No. There's no travel charge anywhere in Gloucestershire, and that includes Tetbury.
How early should we book?
I'm getting booked up two to three years ahead, so ask as soon as you have your venue and date.
