It's stylish without feeling formal — and for a wedding, that creates an incredible atmosphere.
Having performed at Cowley Manor, my approach is to make the music feel exactly the same way.
Sophisticated when it needs to be. Relaxed during the day. And completely different once it's time to party.

From there, I build the music around you.

Drinks at Cowley
This is one of my favourite parts of an all-day wedding.
The music isn't supposed to demand everyone's attention.
It's there to create an atmosphere.
Soul.
Funk.
Balearic.
Acoustic edits.
Disco.
Laid-back house.
Or perhaps something more individual to you.
The idea is that guests might not consciously notice every track — but they'd certainly notice if the music wasn't there.
The Evening Party
Once the first dance is over, I approach the evening as a proper DJ set.
Not a predetermined list of wedding songs.
I'll take the music we've discussed beforehand and combine it with what's actually happening in front of me.
Reading who's dancing.
Watching how people react.
Knowing when to stay with a sound for another record and when it's time to completely change direction.
Disco can become house.
R&B can become garage.
Indie can become 90s.
An old classic can suddenly become the biggest record of the night.
That's the part that can't be planned on a spreadsheet.
It's about reading the room.
DJ x Sax at Cowley Manor
For the right wedding, DJ x Sax works brilliantly at Cowley Manor.
It can begin earlier in the day with live sax during your drinks reception before returning later alongside the DJ.
For the evening, the saxophonist performs with me rather than stopping the party for a separate performance.
We build the dance floor first.
Then introduce live sax over carefully selected tracks at exactly the right moment.
House, disco, funk, soulful house and Ibiza-inspired music work particularly well — giving the evening another level of energy while keeping everything flowing.

My presentation is deliberately clean and understated — avoiding unnecessary equipment, excessive lighting and the traditional wedding-DJ look.
Everything should feel considered.
During the earlier part of the celebration, the equipment blends into the environment.
When it's time to party, the atmosphere changes.
