Yes. Foxhill Manor’s Ballroom hosts the evening celebration for up to 80 guests, and I bring a clean DJ booth, professional sound and programmed lighting. Prices are from £1,150 for an evening and £1,750 for the full day, with a music consultation beforehand.
Foxhill Manor is a 5 Red Star private house hotel within the 500-acre Farncombe Estate near Broadway. Having performed at Foxhill Manor, I approach the music in exactly the same way: considered during the day, effortless through dinner and drinks, then completely focused on a proper party when the time is right.

How do you plan the music for a Foxhill Manor wedding?
With your closest friends and family around you, a wedding at Foxhill can feel like an incredible private house party. That intimacy is part of what makes it special, and it creates an opportunity to make the music particularly personal. Before the wedding we talk about the music you love, the tracks that mean something to you and anything you’d rather avoid. Send as much direction as you like: a long Spotify playlist, or twenty tracks and a do-not-play list.
On the night I combine those choices with reading the room. That might mean soul, disco, funk, indie, R&B, garage, house, Ibiza classics or 80s and 90s favourites. I’d rather respond to the people in front of me than decide weeks ahead what plays at 10.45pm.
How does the music run through a wedding day at Foxhill Manor?
With the All-day package, one DJ looks after the whole soundtrack: ceremony music, the drinks reception, background music through the wedding breakfast, a wireless microphone for speeches, then the evening party. All-day starts from £1,750, and we plan each part together beforehand.
Ceremony
Foxhill offers beautiful spaces for the ceremony, from the garden terrace to the Ballroom. Music for guest arrival, your entrance, signing and ceremony exit can all be planned beforehand and timed carefully on the day.
Drinks reception
Soul, funk, acoustic edits, Balearic and laid-back house, leaving plenty of space for conversation.
Wedding breakfast & speeches
Background music that leaves room for conversation and a wireless microphone for the speeches.
Cocktail hour
The music gradually lifts towards disco, funk and feel-good favourites as the evening begins.

Foxhill's Ballroom becomes the heart of the evening celebration. An open-format, properly mixed set built around your guests.
Can we add live sax at Foxhill Manor?
Yes. Sax works with either package: the saxophonist improvises live over selected tracks and I keep the mix going underneath. It’s strongest with house, disco, funk and Ibiza classics. The cost depends on which date you’re booking.
What does your setup look like at Foxhill Manor?
Foxhill Manor is a five-star property with beautifully considered interiors, and the DJ setup should respect that. My approach is clean and deliberately understated: a stylish DJ booth, professional sound and programmed lighting. Luxury is as much about what you leave out as what you put in.
An upgraded lighting package with 10 wireless uplighters is also available, adding warmth around the space without trailing cables.

Who is Alistair Rutherford?
My name’s Alistair Rutherford and I’m a resident DJ at Soho Farmhouse (Soho House). I’ve spent more than ten years DJing luxury weddings, private parties and events, in the UK and abroad. What you get is a real DJ set, open-format and mixed, with no cheesy routines, the microphone kept for when it’s needed and nothing lifted from a standard wedding playlist.
